Marking the opening of a special display of his work at Tate Modern, Ken Tyler will talk about these collaborations and modern printmaking.
Ken Tyler is the central figure of the printmaking revolution that has transformed American art since the 1960s. Firstly at the Gemini GEL studio (âthe MGM of print workshopsâ), then since 1974 at Tyler Graphics Ltd, he has collaborated with artists such as Stella, Rauschenberg, Johns and Motherwell. Marking the opening of a special display of his work at Tate Modern, Ken Tyler will talk about these collaborations and modern printmaking. On 24 November, he will also be leading a masterclass in the Modern Prints Study Room at Tate Britain 10.30-16.30, for which limited places are available. To apply contact juliet.cook@tate.org.uk
