Discussion between Eric Parry, Mike Stiff and David Walker on the particular challenges and concerns facing architects working on sites within the Square Mile.
WORK and Artifice books on architecture are pleased to invite you to a roundtable discussion between Eric Parry of Eric Parry Architects, Mike Stiff of Stiff + Trevillion Architects, and David Walker of David Walker Architects.
The panelists will draw on their considerable experience with high profile projects to discuss the particular challenges and concerns facing architects working on sites within the Square Mile. In response to the 2014 London Festival of Architecture (LFA) theme of Capital, the panel will address the extent to which Londonâs architecture both reflects and confirms its dual image as a centre for global finance and creative innovationâ” investment capital and cultural capital.
The event will celebrate the recent publication of three monographs by Artifice books on architecture: Eric Parry Architects Volume 3; Stiff + Trevillion: Practising Architecture; and London Buildings: David Walker Architects, each of which will be available at a special LFA discount throughout the evening. A drinks reception and book signing will follow the discussion.
Building London: A Roundtable is part of WORKâs Focus on Architecture events programme, which runs throughout June in conjunction with the London Festival of Architecture 2014.
