Illustrating your Family History

A one-hour talk on how to illustrate your family history with photos, maps, views and other images. This talk is ideal for those who have already started working on writing their family history or are getting ready to do so.

In this talk, John Pearson offers tips and ideas for illustrating your printed family history. He looks at using pictures you may already possess. He also gives advice and ideas on where you may find and copy others that you can use for presentation. John introduces useful ideas, such as using illustrations of places your ancestors lived, along with maps and views, lifetime occasions, and timelines that had some bearing on an ancestor’s life. This talk is ideal for anyone that wants to understand how the use of illustrations can enhance their text and bring stories to life.
