Beyond Agincourt: The Funerary Achievements of Henry V

A one-day conference to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the battle of Agincourt hosted by Westminster Abbey - the burial place of Henry V.

Westminster Abbey is celebrating the 600th anniversary of the battle of Agincourt with a conference on 28th October 2015. Henry V was buried in the Abbey and his shield, sword and helm were carried in his funeral procession. Historians and armour experts will examine these important objects and consider their use at Henry’s funeral.
