Self-Publishing for Family Historians

Patsy Trench, a writer and self-publisher, covers how to publish printed books and e-books, do it yourself or find others to do it for you and how and where to distribute your book.

Have you written your family history? Or are you in the process of writing it? Maybe you are just starting out.

So, what happens next? Self-publishing offers many easily accessible options for the family historian, whether you just want to produce a few books for the immediate family, or you are hoping for a wider audience,

In this half-day workshop, Patsy Trench, a writer and self-publisher, covers publishing printed books and ebooks:
- how to go about it
- how to do it yourself or find others to do it for you
- how and where to distribute your book.

Patsy bases the workshop on her experience self publishing The Worst Country in the World, Book One of a family history trilogy, about her ancestress who emigrated from Dorset to New South Wales in 1801.
