Politics: Where are the Women?

A panel discussion focusing on the Under-representation of women in contemporary politics.

After almost a century of women’s suffrage, men still dominate electoral politics. Less than a quarter of MPs are women, and parliament is seen as steeped in institutional sexism.

In the latest of series of talks, London Young Greens are hosting an evening of discussion on women in politics, looking at obstacles to female participation in government, and talking about the solutions. Join us for a panel discussion with politicians and speakers from the Fawcett and Electoral Reform Societies, followed by a Q&A.
