Spirit can only be accessed through the medium of the Soul, and therefore we need to give more importance to âsoulfulâ activities in the process of spiritual development.
The terms âSoulâ and âSpiritâ are often seen as interchangeable, but in fact their meaning is quite different.
Spirit can only be accessed through the medium of the Soul, and therefore we need to give more importance to âsoulfulâ activities in the process of spiritual development. If not, we risk turning the quest for the spiritual into an activity that simply hardens the âselfâ and boosts the âegoâ or âpersonalityâ. The Soul is not âmeâ, but something else.
In this talk, Sydney-based philosopher Dr. Matthew Del Nevo will seek to clarify these concepts and offer some suggestions for moving towards genuine spiritual maturity.
