Political Squabbler: who was Lord Hervey?

Lord Hervey was a courtier to Queen Caroline in the Hanoverian court. As a political writer he was a key supporter of Robert Walpole’s administration. He is most well-known for his detailed and brutally frank memoirs of court, especially giving an insight to the family squabbles. Join us for this talk as we explore the life and gossip of Hervey’s life and writings.
