Documentary film screening of the life, works and impact of revolutionary C.L.R James.
Join us on Thursday March 31st at 7.30pm in the Arthur and Paula Lucas Theatre at King's College London for the launch night of Every Cook Can Govern â“ the first feature-length documentary to explore the life, writings and politics of the great Trinidad-born revolutionary C.L.R. James. This historical tour-de-force interweaves never before seen footage of C.L.R. James with unique testimony from those he knew, alongside interviews with the worldâs most eminent scholars of Jamesâ life, work and politics. Every Cook Can Govern marks the culmination of a three year multimedia project arranged by the education charity WORLDwrite and its Citizen TV station WORLDbytes.
