The relationship between these two close allies throughout the major events of the 20th and 21st Centuries will be examined.
Following it's first use by Sir Winston Churchill in his famous 1946 speech, the phrase 'Special Relationship' is used to describe the exceptionally close political, diplomatic, cultural, economic, military and historical relations between the United Kingdom and the United States. In this exciting event a very special guest speaker will discuss the relationship between these two nations throughout the years and looking ahead to the future.
