New methods for detecting bodily fluids, explosives and illicit drugs
The new detection methods can be effective in the search for improvised explosives. They are also relevant to the currently contentious issue of the use of drugs in sport. New DNA techniques are examining the transfer of DNA through touch as well as the development of phenotypic and ancestry markers.
