Please join us for a Christian Social and Political Thought lecture by Dr David Grumett
Food is a growing issue in the public mind and Christian theology has more to say about it than may be realized. In scripture and church tradition, fasting and abstinence have brought people together and helped to conserve and distribute scarce resources, especially during Lent. By reconnecting with these traditions, Christians may develop an informed ethical response to food production and usage of value in itself but also, by connecting with a concern of daily life, for mission.
