Annual lecture at Handel's former home in Mayfair, this year focusing on the musical canon.
The musical canon is central to our appreciation of classical music today, and 18th-century Britain led in its formation.
Handelâs role in influencing that process is the subject of this lecture by Suzanne Aspden, Associate Professor of Music at the University of Oxford.
