Join us at the David Attenborough Building on Earth Day 2017 as part of a worldwide celebration of #EarthOptimism

Join us at the David Attenborough Building on Earth Day 2017 as part of a worldwide celebration of #EarthOptimism, exploring what’s working in conservation and why, and discovering how every one of us can become more involved in saving nature.
Hear Stories of Hope in conservation from leading figures including Jane Goodall and Sir David Attenborough.

At the hands-on #EarthOptimism Cambridge Solutions Fair over 50 local, national and international organisations will be showcasing a variety of practical ways that people can make a real difference for the planet through their everyday lives. Visitors will leave the Solutions Fair empowered with the knowledge of the steps we can all take to make a difference to the world.

The Solutions Fair takes place at the David Attenborough Building between 11.00-17.00 on Saturday 22 April 2017. Advanced booking is not required: everyone is welcome, so please come along to immerse yourself in what promises to be an uplifting, inspirational and action-packed day.

The Fair is divided into four themes, each of which addresses an aspect of daily life. Within each theme visitors will be able to take part in activities relating to that theme, ask questions, and pledge to make positive changes in their lives.

Talks and drop-in activities run 10am—7pm, Saturday 22nd April 2017.

All events are free but talks must be booked in advance.
