A Virtual City Churches Walk

A visual tour of eight historic City of London churches with photos by John Bethell and notes from FCC Trustee Signe Hoffos.

While the weather is still uncertain, enjoy a virtual walk with John Bethell’s sumptuous photographs, tracing a route from St Vedast alias Foster to St Stephen Walbrook by way of St Anne and St Agnes, St Botolph Aldersgate, St Bartholomew the Great, St Bartholomew the Less, Christchurch Newgate Street and St Mary le Bow. Many of John’s photos are subtly enhanced by a digital editing tool which corrects the distorted perspective that plagues most of our amateur efforts. Pick up some tips here, as well as an introduction to eight magnificent City churches, with tea and cake after the talk.
