Alan Kitching will discuss his journey from Black & White woodblock print to his
strident use of colour which has become a hallmark of his practice. He will discuss his ideas of colour and content and his methodology; the content of his recent book,
‘A Life in Letterpress’.

‘The Rose of Temperaments’ 30 minutes + 10 - 15minutes Q&A
Brian Lewis will discuss the exploration of colour through the medium of poetry,
the subjective experience of colour perception and the idea of the 'colour space',
the collaborative practices at the heart of the colour-themed project
‘The Rose of Temperaments', and the role of the colour wheel in orienting our
journeys through the spectra of language and light.
