The fast-moving world of fashion and textiles feeds on original ideas, knock-offs and copies. Designers must show their work to different clients including press, buyers, agents and manufacturers, any of whom can ‘rip off’ their ideas.

This Own It event will look at how the fashion industry works, how it should work and what you can do to protect yourself and avoid being ripped off.
