During this evening seminar Robert Lands, lawyer at Finers Stephens Innocent will explain how illustrators can use copyright and contract law to protect and promote their work on the web.
The internet offers illustrators a great opportunity to promote their work to a major public at a relatively low cost. The downside is that images are easy to access and difficult to protect from copying. Many questions have arisen about the rules for the exploitation of images and the ways to protect the artworks.
The AOI seminar intends to answer some of these questions and help illustrators to get a better understanding of their rights, so they can protect their artwork from getting âcaught by the webâ
