Pioneering architect, film and video artist, poet & performer - has spent over 35 years exploring the relationship between his body and public space
FACT is delighted to announce that an impressive selection of Vito Acconci's work, including pieces never-before-seen in the UK will form a unique new exhibition at the FACT Centre from Friday 22 - Sunday 12 June. Entry to the exhibition is free, and tailor-made tours of the building and galleries may be arranged at no cost. The state-of-the-art centre was designed and built in 2003 by award-winning architects Austin Smith: Lord and is the first purpose-built arts centre created in Liverpool for 60 years. The FACT arts centre was instrumental in winning Liverpool's bid for European City of Culture in 2008. The FACT Centre also houses 3 cinema screens and a licensed cafe and bar.
