Kingston Readers' Festival: Servants in 19th Century Literature

Lecture by Dr Norma Clarke.

In this talk, Dr Norma Clarke will investigate the relationships between a selevtion of 19th Century writers and their servants. The writers will include the Carlyles, Elizabeth Barrett Browning and Henry James.
