‘Art of the Brain’ workshop

Ever wanted to have a go at painting or sculpture? There’s creativity in everybody and this is a chance for audiences to express themselves and find out something about their brain. Dr Lizzie Burns, whose art is inspired by science, will lead a series of workshops helping visitors to paint their own brain cell portrait, write about their hopes and fears or build a brain. Colin Blakemore is taking time out from the Medical Research Council to host this evening, and neuroscientist, Mark Lythgoe, will talk about creativity and the brain. Paints, clay and materials are provided (and aprons – so no need to worry about your clothes)! This event is organised by the European Dana Alliance for the Brain and the Medical Research Council
