Art in the Public Realm

The conference will present four innovative models of commissioning art in the public realm.


A series of case studies by international speakers will explore questions of context, as well as issues raised when working with specific communities.
The conference is organised by the Serpentine Gallery in collaboration with the Curating Contemporary Art Department at the Royal College of Art and supported by the Fondation de France and Arts Council England.
