Tour and Picnic at Barlaston Hall

A day trip to Barlaston Hall in Staffordshire, guided tour of house, lunch provided, Wedgewood Museum

The scene of one of SAVE's most significant triumphs, this day trip to the beautiful home of James and Carol Hall will prove to be one of the highlights of our year. A full guided tour from Marcus Binney, SAVE's President, and James and Carol Hall, Barlaston's present owners will be followed by a delicious lunch in the garden, picnic style, then the truly dedicated will be welcomed at the Wedgwood Museum (a ten munite walk away) by the Curator for a tour of the Visitors' Centre and a short presentation on the exciting new developments there funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Tea at the Museum then return to Barlaston to say our thanks and goodbyes to the Halls, ending about 5pm.
