Playing with the language of music

Chamber Domaine is one of the most innovative ensembles in Britain and has established an international reputation for its passionate performances

The pre-concert talk will provide an overview to the series and show what the different parameters of music are - pitch, rhythm, structure, texture, harmony, dynamics and how they can be used in a humorous way. The concert programme will include pieces by Haydn, Satie, Stravinsky, Debussy and a performance of Schoenberg - Pierrot Lunaire.
