Café Scientifique’s Dinner@Dana: The Laws of Nature

Scientists assume the fundamental laws of nature to be unchanging and universal. But is there more to a law of nature than the constant pairing of cause and effect? And if there is, what is it? Peter Lipton, Professor of Philosophy of Science from Cambridge University, dissects the building blocks of science. This evening costs £13.50 per person, which includes a two-course meal and a drink.
