Carl-Viggo Holmebakk: Projects and Projections

Norwegian architect, Carl-Viggo Holmebakk, demonstrates a consideration of the character and quality of materials, articulated in response to nature and site

The work of Norwegian architect, Carl-Viggo Holmebakk, demonstrates a profound consideration of the character and quality of materials and their expression within the context of both the site and natural location. His small-scale projects, such as a summer house, viewpoint platforms, and an award-winning mortuary, have an intensity of spirit expressed in simple elegant forms.
