Celebrate the opening of the new âTimeâ galleries at the Royal Observatory and the 350th anniversary of the invention of the pendulum clock. Hear about the history and highlights of the collection and see how they are looked after in our brand-new conservation studios. Explore the new galleries with the curators involved in setting them up, and enjoy lunch in the splendour of the Octagon Room, designed by Sir Christopher Wren and now home to the Royal Observatoryâs collection of splendid early pendulum clocks.
