Gwen Thomas, Executive Director of the Association of Photographers (AOP) will give an expert overview of the key IP and copyright issues for photographers, which will offer many examples of copyright infringements.
An illustrated talk on IP and copyright issues for photographers, which will offer visual examples of copyright infringements. Martin Cameron photographer & AOP) will also respond to questions and will offer points for further discussion. The event will also feature a screening of the video 'Creators Have Rights', which documents the problems the UK's creative community faces within today's media environment, and identifies their origins. The video's contributors include composers Nigel Hess and David Ferguson, cartoonist Steve Bell, film director Maurice Phillips, writers Maureen Duffy, Deborah Moggach and Jeremy Sandford,
photographer and web designer Mike Laye and journalists Dr Steve Wilkinson and Alex Pascal.
