Wednesday Late View Lecture
Contemplating the Crafts Councilâs collections Amanda Fielding looks at the howâs, whyâs and whatâs of collecting to represent the best of contemporary craft work today and for the future. Karen Livingstone then explores the V&Aâs recent craft acquisitions, both from Collect and other exhibitions, and reveals the criteria used to shape and evolve the collections. There will a question and answer session afterwards, plus the speakers will be available in the Collect exhibition for further questions during the evening.
