The Dana Pub Guide to: Energy

The Pub Guide to energy let’s you get hands on and build contraptions that may or may not be efficient. The Pub Guide series is aimed at even the most science-shy among us, and is ideal for impressing mates and colleagues down the pub.

The Pub Guide to: Energy offers a beginners guide to energy, highlighting a range of issues such as energy generation, renewable power and future energy sources. Visitors will also be able to build contraptions that may or may not be efficient to run.

The event will be divided into mini workshops with areas for people to investigate topics for themselves. There will also be experts, Dr David Hart, Dr Charlotte Williams and Professor Tim Green, on hand to answer questions such as what are hydrogen fuel cells, biofuels and how we distribute power in the UK.

The Pub Guide to… series is aimed at even the most science-shy, and is ideal for impressing mates and colleagues down the pub.
