Luke Dodd, curator of Jane's archive at The Guardian takes us on a visual journey through her 50 years of her beautiful black and white photographs. Samuel Beckett, Jarvis Cocker and Mick Jagger amongst a host of others have all been captured by her expert eye.
Jane has worked for The Observer since 1949 when the newspaper published her first photograph. Subjects as diverse as Samuel Beckett,Cilla Black, Jarvis Cocker, Mick Jagger, Orson Welles and The Beatles have all been captured in her signature black and white style over the last half century. She recently gave her entire archive to The Guardian, from which curator Luke Dodd will atke us on a visual journey across more than fifty years.
