Plumbing - The Public Health Service

This joint lecture is on behalf of The Worshipful Company of Plumbers and the Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering.


This lecture will mark the centenary of the Institute of Plumbing & Heating Engineering and the 120th anniversary of the establishment of the Register of Plumbers by The Worshipful Company of Plumbers.

Geoff Marsh MBE has been in the industry for 60 years and is passionate about the role plumbers play in maintaining the nation’s health. In his talk he will cover past times, the present situation and the future prospects of the industry.

Rapidly advancing technology and its impact on standards of education and training is also assessed.
