The author of 37 books, including 21 novels, several essay and story collections. Raphael comes to the ICA to talk about the art of writing the perfect script.


The author of 37 books, including 21 novels, several essay and story collections, Frederic Raphael wrote the screenplay for Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut, won an Oscar for his screenplay of Darling, an Academy Award for his screenplay for Two for the Road and a Royal Television Society's Writer of the Year Award for his screenplay for the BBC mini-series The Glittering Prizes. His latest book is called Some Talk of Alexander. Raphael comes to the ICA to talk about the art of writing the perfect script – or whether such a thing exists
