Disaster Response in 2005

The Red Cross and Red Crescent movement is the worlds largest disaster response organisation. Hear how we worked in 2005

2005 was a year of unprecedented disasters across the world. From the Tsunami to the Earthquake in Pakistan, the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement was busier than ever.

This event, chaired by Sir Nicholas Young, our Chief Executive, will explore our reponse to disasters, and the impact we make. We will cover our work in Sudan, and our response to Hurricane Katrina.
