History of the delicate porcelain produced in China.


The translucent yet durable qualities of blue and white porcelain have been admired by emperors, Renaissance princes and English tea connoisseurs alike. Follow the history of production and trade as reveled by European paintings, palace collections and 18th-century shipwrecks.
