Book Launch

Collector, artist, adventurer, courtier to Louis XV, friend of Napoleon, Vivan Denon is one of the most significant figures in French art history, his name carved above an entrance to the Louvre. In her new novel, A Conversation on the Quai Voltaire, award-winning author Lee Langley recreates an extraordinary life, following Denon to Paris, Venice, St Petersburg and to Eygpt with Bonaparte.
