As a part of land mine week Karl Sacks from teh BBC's Beyond Boundres 2005 and speakers from the Leeds Rehabilitation Service will talk about the History of Prosthetic Limbs


As a part of land mine week the Thackray Museum will be looking at the role of prosthetics and how they have evolved. Karl Sacks star of the 2005 BBC series Beyond Boundaries will talk about his experience as a prosthetics user and how they helped him overcome challenges in the Nicaraguan Jungle. Speakers from the Leeds Rehabilitation Service will talk about the History of Prosthetic Limbs and the amazing things they can now do.
