Unlocking the Nation's Art Treasures

Outstanding yet unknown art collection

From portraits to seascapes, this significant collection includes work by Turner, Reynolds, Canaletto, Gainsborough and Hogarth. The historic Queen’s House is the Museum’s elegant showcase for this in a new exhibition called Art for the Nation. This study day explores related art-historical issues, the collection’s treasures and individual collectors through lectures and curator-led gallery tours.
