Curator's Talk : 'Divided Selves: Scottish Self-portraiture from the C17th to the present'

Bill Hare from the University of Edinburgh, will give a tour and lecture on this critically-acclaimed exhibition of Scottish self-portraiture.


Bill will discuss R.D. Laing the Scottish psychotherapist whose theories of the self published in the book 'Divided Selves' (1950) resonate throughout this show. Bill will also deal with the rationale behind the selection on view and importance of this exploration Scotland's leading artists. There will be an opportunity to discuss and ask questions.
