Alan Badiou on the war on terror

The most important continental philosopher at work in the world today, Alain Badiou

At a time when philosophy has retreated into the academy and self-help manuals, Badiou comes to the ICA to ask what philosophy is capable of offering radical politics today - five years on from 9/11, in the heat of a war on terror which is sending ripples across the entire Middle East. Badiou’s latest book is called Polemics. At the ICA, he will be interviewed by Peter Hallward, the author of Badiou: A Subject to Truth and Out of this World: Deleuze and the Philosophy of Creation.
