In 1848 in a modest studio in London a group of young men established what was later called the most important movement ever in British Art: the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
Dr Mary Cowling, Senior Lecturer in Art and Design and Curator of the Royal Holloway Collection, will discuss how these young artists were determined to revolutionize what they perceived to be the degenerate art of their day.
