FIONA FOLEY âSTRANGE FRUITâ
The title of this exhibition echoes one of the most poignant and influential protest songs ever written, Billie Holidayâs ghostly classic, âStrange Fruitâ.
Artist, activist, curator and writer, Fiona Foley stands at the forefront of cultural-political discourse in Australia. Her photographs and sculptural installations stand witness to a history of trauma, invasion and dispossession. This exhibition, âStrange Fruitâ, features a recent body of work by the artist.
