Folk Flutes of Eastern Europe

The folk flutes of Eastern Europe - an illustrated exploration of the folk music of Easitern Europe

Just as Tolkien in Lord of the Rings saw our cultural roots mirrored in the language of the Shire, so Dr Andrei Pidkivka, brilliant woodwind player and articulate speaker, sees our European music growing out of his own Carpathian culture. A fascinating exploration of the folk music of Eatern Europe, weaving the tales of the Carpathian mountians into the voice of his shepherd flutes.

Also - Andrei Pidkivka's Carpathian Folk Band entertains festival-goers at a Sunday Champagne Brunch. See website for details.
