One of Britain's most respected diplomats of the late 20th century addresses the most pressing issue of the 21st century. As a former British Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Chef de Cabinet to the President of the European Commission, Sir Crispin Tickle offers an international political perspective in his extensive academic work in the field of climate change. As author of the seminal 'Climate Change and World Affairs' he brought the nature and scope of the problem to the world's attention in the mid 1970s. Thirty years on Sir Crispin Tickle is a global authority on a subject that stands to be the greatest test of political authority around the globe.
