Readings by poet Ian Gregson and writer Lucy Caldwell
New Writing Readings
2006
Swedenborg Institute, Bloomsbury, London
December 5th
2-4pm
Poet
Ian Gregson
In his long-awaited first collection, short-listed for a Forward Prize, Ian Gregson probes life as we know it, faulty, finicky, sensual and at times beautifully redemptive -- an impressive debut!
AND
Writer
Lucy Caldwell
Lucy Caldwell was born in Belfast in 1982. She won the Peggy Ramsay Award for playwriting. Where They Were Missed is a moving meditation on the beauty and sadness of northern Ireland as political violence bleeds into everyday life but above all it is the story of an ordinary family, about children and marriage and how loss can help us grow up, but also can undo us.
These events will be held at the Swedenborg Institute, Bloomsbury, London.
Entry is free and refreshments will be provided.
