Viking Filth: The Evidence
Come and find out how archaeologists discovered Viking Age excrement in excavations in York. This informal talk will also show how ancient filth can provide a host of insights into the most intimate details of everyday life 1000 years ago. The whole talk will be translated using sign language for deaf and hard of hearing people, and there will also be tactile handling for visitors with visual impairments. Pre-booking essential: 01904 543402. Standard admission charges apply for a full visit to DIG - An Archaeological Adventure.
