Wangari Maathai

Wangari Maathai, founder of the Green Belt Movement, Kenya and winner of the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize, will be speaking about the global work of the GBM and the environmental and social challenges faced by humanity in the 21st century.


The GBM empowers communities worldwide to protect the environment and to promote good governance and cultures of peace.

In partnership with the Green Belt Movement International and William Heinemann.
