Dworkin sets out some core principles that he believes all citizens share, including human rights and economic justice.
In Is Democracy Possible Here? (Princeton), Ronald Dworkin, Professor of Law at New York University and University College, London, examines what he considers to be the lamentable state of democracy today. In an attempt to show that politics need not be a clash of irreconcilable wills and interests, he sets out some core principles that he believes all citizens share, principles that affect human rights, economic justice, the place of religion in public life and the character and value of democracy.
