Science in the Real World and Stem Cell Science

Using examples of research supported by the Medical Research Council, Professor Colin Blakemore will describe the challenges of turning discoveries in the laboratory today into the health care of tomorrow before being joined by Professor Austin Smith, director of the new Wellcome Trust Institute for Stem Cell Research, who will then talk about this exciting field of science.
