The London Festival of Europe reflects on philosophical issues arising from multilingualism
This event makes the case for the multilingualism of Europe and the EU, discussing the importance of translation and multilingualism in the history of European thought and politics, and the importance of respect for other languages in the recognition of the âotherâ. The event will be framed by the question of the role of the English language in European culture and politics, which will be highlighted by poet Niccolo Milanese
